AFTRS Announce Film Program

As part of its 50th anniversary celebrations, AFTRS will screen a series of acclaimed feature films directed by AFTRS alumni, beginning with Dead Calm, by director Phillip Noyce, on March 28 at 6.30pm.

The screening will also feature a special video introduction from Phillip Noyce.

Over the past 50 years, AFTRS alumni that have been at the forefront of cinema culture, producing work that has moved, challenged and thrilled audiences around the world.

Each film in this series was directed by an AFTRS alumnus and almost all feature alumni in key creative roles including producers, cinematographers, editors, production designers and costume designers.

In partnership with the National Film and Sound Archive (NFSA), the films in this program will be presented entirely on 35mm prints borrowed from their collection, treating audiences to a rich and unique cinematic experience.
