Jaggi Entertainment is underway on the new festive romance DESIGNING CHRISTMAS, now shooting at locations across Brisbane. The feature film stars Susie Abromeit (Love In Bloom, When Love Springs) and Liam McIntyre (Spartacus: Vengeance, This Little Love of Mine) in the lead roles, with Jo-Anne Brechin (One Perfect Match, When Love Springs) directing. The movie will be distributed in the USA and around the world by Nicely Entertainment.
In DESIGNING CHRISTMAS, Susie Abromeit plays Colbie Clark, an ambitious interior designer for Klein and Smith Design, with her eyes set on a spot on the corporate design team. An opportunity to achieve just that falls onto Colbie’s lap when her boss Mallory (Kimberley Joseph) informs her that she has been specifically requested by Eloise Chapman (Fiona Stewart) to decorate the historic Chapman House for its annual Christmas Ball. The catch? She’ll have to work closely with Ben Thurston (Liam McIntyre), the estate’s very handsome manager. Despite early disagreements, Colbie and Ben prove to be a good team and mutual respect begins to blossom. Will the pair succumb to their undeniable chemistry, and overcome the obstacles to find a path to each other?

For US actor Susie Abromeit, this is her third time filming in Queensland, she comments “I’m happy to be back in Australia and I’m really enjoying the shoot so far. DESIGNING CHRISTMAS is written by Ansley Gordon, directed Jo-Anne Brechin and produced by Steve Jaggi and Kylie Pascoe. Executive Producer is Vanessa Shapiro. Jaggi Entertainment will manage distribution of the film in Australia, while USA and international sales and distribution will be handled by Nicely Entertainment.
