“TOP END WEDDING” stars to tour Australia


eOne and Universal Pictures announced today that Award Winning Australian actress MIRANDA TAPSELL will be accompanied by break out star GWILYM LEE (Bohemian Rhapsody) and DirectorWAYNE BLAIR (The Sapphires) in Australia for a week long promotional tour to launch TOP END WEDDING.

An Australia production, TOP END WEDDING showcases extraordinary landscapes and beautiful shooting locations including the Top End’s rarely seen Tiwi Islands, as well as Kakadu, Katherine and Darwin.

Co-Writer, Associate Producer and Star of the film, Miranda Tapsell said “I’m so proud to be from the Northern Territory and I’m thrilled that Top End Wedding really shows off its innate beauty. The film really celebrates what it means to belong to an Aboriginal community and how much strength you can draw from being home.”

Cast will be available for press opportunities throughout their visit in Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Darwin from April 6 – 12.

Top End Wedding is directed by Wayne Blair (The Sapphires, Cleverman) and features a stellar ensemble cast including AACTA Award nominee Kerry Fox (Bright Star, Cloudstreet), Ursula Yovich (The Code, Australia), Shari Sebbens (Thor: Ragnarok, The Sapphires), Huw Higginson (Janet King, The Bill) and Elaine Crombie (Top of The Lake, Black Comedy).
