Stan, Australia’s unrivalled home of original productions, tonight celebrated the upcoming 20 January launch of The Stan Original Film Transfusion with a star-studded blue carpet Australian premiere in Sydney.
Australian mega-star Sam Worthington was in attendance with director and star Matt Nable, as were fellow co-stars Phoebe Tonkin and Edward Carmody. Jessica Napier, Jeremy Lindsay Taylor, Andrew Mann, Trystan Go, Max Duffield, Ethan Puse, George Houvardas, Julian Maroun, Aaron Glenane and Gilbert Bradman rounded out the film’s stars on the carpet, as a huge number Australian media turned out to support the film.
Stan Ambassadors Roxy Jacenko, Renee Bargh and Beau Ryan were dressed to the nines, with special appearances from Damon Herriman (The Stan Original Series, The Tourist), Ioane Sa’ula (The Stan Original Series Bump), Fayssal Bazzi, Ben O’Toole and Lincoln Younes (the upcoming Stan Original Series C*A*U*G*H*T), Tim Robards, Cass Wood, Brent Vitiello, Chloe Bayliss, Sam Fricker, Jack Millar, Courtney Stubbs, Elouise Eftos, Jessica Ferguson, Jack Hemmings and Issac Heeney.
The Stan Original Film, Transfusion stars Sam Worthington as Ryan Logan, a former Special Forces operative, who is battling to cope with life after the loss of his wife and is thrust into the criminal underworld to keep his only son from being taken from him.
As well as writing and starring, Matt Nable will be making his directorial debut, with John Schwarz and Michael Schwarz producing through their Deeper Water Films banner and Cailah Scobie, Paul Wiegard, Will Clarke, Andy Mayson and Mike Runagall also be serving as Executive Producers. The Stan Original Film Transfusion premieres tomorrow 20 January, only on Stan.
